Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Chhem Chhoeung [allegedly]was a CIA spy and operated in the forest to gather people to return to their village to join soldiers in Region 3. In 1973, when going to the defense line, he shot c ombatants and reported to enemy troops to kill combatans, and bought guns from ex-soldiers in the Eastern and Southwest Zones to supply guerrillas. In 1976, he was a soldier in Special Unit 30 in Poiy Pet, and contacted Thailand so that Thailand cooperated with In Tam's soldiers and Sek Sam Tek in jointly attacking the revolution. On 13 June, 1977, he was arrested by Angkar.
