Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Orng Uk was a combatant of the revolution, and was educated by Yan to support Vietnam. Then, [Orng Uk]joined the Vietnamese soldiers, encouraged youth not to join the Khmer soldiers, and repo rted the location of the Khmer military to Vietnamese soldiers. In 1971, [Orng Uk]was sent by the Vietnamese to enter the monkhood in order to spy on activities in pagodas and to inspire monks to resi gn in order to join the military. In 1973, [Orng Uk]quit monkhood and started activities in collectives in the village, served poisoned food to Brothers, and destroyed Angkar's property. On 8 February , 1978, [Orng Uk]was arrested by Angkar.
