Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1968, Chhuon Svay [allegedly]joined the CIA through In Heung, to spy on Khmer Rouge secrets among students, inspired people's movements to oppose the Khmer Rouge, and built up CIA forces among stud ents. In 1975, [Svay]came to Region 5 to move the party backwards, destroyed harvested crops, tied up cattle without letting them eat, and drove ox-carts over rice to destroy it. On 18 August, 1977, [ Chhuon Svay]was arrested by Angkar.
