Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1963, Im Chhan [allegedly]was a spy for Heng, the owner of a grinding mill. His assignment was to prevent people from taking property to support the Khmer Rouge. In 1970, he infiltrated the revolut ion's military line and started to destroy the revolution, leaked secrets to enemies when soldiers started a manoeuvere, encouraged combatants to desert, and built up traitorous forces in the military units. In 1975, he encouraged combatants to have free movement and demand private ownership, and object to the rice growing plan of the party. He also destroyed agricultural tools and shot animals, j ust for pleasure. On 25 July, 1977, he was arrested by Angkar.
