Summary / Abstract :

During 1968-70, Phou Kadam, [allegedly]a spy of the Vietnamese, assassinated high-ranking cadres, destroyed peoples' rice seedlings and contacted the Vietnamese to stage a coup d'état in order to take hold of Rattanak Kiri. In 1977, [La]killed combatants while they were busy fighting. [La]formed and trained troops to attack the Khmer Rouge when the Vietnamese attack Khmer Rouge. On March 1, 1978, [La]was arrested by Angkar for his traitorous activities.
