In 1964, Khon Song Sun joined the revolution in Sith Kandal District, Prey Veng Province as a political teacher. During 1971-73, Khon Song Sun was a Chief of Department in Khoh Sotin District. After t he liberation day in 1975, [Khon Song Sun]was assigned by Angkar to live in Phnom Penh and work in the Department of Staff Logistics. Led by Soa and Tom in carrying out the revolution's tasks, [Song S un]was partial to the poor in organizing collectives, making the middle class unhappy, and did not politically educate properly.
