Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Hem Ang joined the revolution as a cadre in Chey Sub-District. He conducted activity against Angkar on the issue of gathering women according to their class top, middle, and base. In 1974, he was sent by Angkar to live in Kampong Som responsible for guest service at the seaside. In 1977, he was assigned to be a medical producer in hospital Phnom Penh ( Phor Por), destroyed tobacco plants, and produced poor quality medicine. Later, he was again sent by Angkar to live and work in the farming and planting base. On 26 April, 1977, he was arrested by Angkar.
