Summary / Abstract :

In 1963, Sao Leng alias Ren [allegedly]was a spy for In Tam. In 1967, [Sao Leng]was assigned by In Tam to infiltrate the revolution as a combatant in Phnom Veay Chhab, and reported Lon Nol troops to a ttack the revolution for conquering Phnom Veay Chhab. In 1970, [Leng]was assigned by Angkar to be a military commander in Battambang District and built up traitorous forces in the units, destroyed the revolution's forces, caused many deaths by leading soldiers to enter the enemy's defense line, made combatants afraid of battle and return home, and contacted In Tam to ask for military support for a plotted coup to conquer Battambang. On 19 August, 1977, [Sao Leng]was arrested by Angkar.
