Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1972, Uch Chhea became a Sub-District militiaman in the revolutionary line, Region 7. In 1973, [Chhea]became a CIA agent and hid in the revolution in an attempt to encourage soldiers to defect and to destroy the revolution's properties. In 1974, while [Chhea]was in Battalion 22, he assassinated other soliders and destroyed ammunition of the revolution. After the liberation in 1975, with the sup port of the Thai, [Chhea]built up traitorous troops and planned to attack the revolution. On September 26, 1977, [Chhea]was arrested by Angkar.
