Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Tum Thon [allegedly]joined the revolution. In 1972, [Thon]quitted the revolution and joined the military and was then assigned to be a colonel to infiltrated the militia of the revolution. At that time, [Thon]reported to troops (Lon Nol)to drop bombs on liberation regions. After the liberation day in 1975, [Thon]was withdrawn by Angkar to Kampong Chhnang, and there [Thon]started destroyin g property and creating conflict on the matter of having insufficient food to eat. Later, [Thon]was tranferred by Angkar to study at the Military Technecal Training School in Region 703. [Thon]then in spired cadres not to make effort into lead and instead encouraged them to go back home, maltreated and starved chilren, killed school cadres, and secretly released prisoners. On 12 February, 1978, [Tu m Thon]was arrested by Angkar.
