Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1956, Chheun [allegedly]joined the CIA to monitor Free Khmer activities. He worked for a Free Khmer Chief in Koh Chhey District in 1967. He served the revolution following the advice of Chouk, who is Committee Chief of Region 24. He was the one who propagandized among people not to believe in the revolution and not to serve the revolution. In 1973, he became Koh Chey Security Chief in Region 24 in charge of propagandizing prisoners to escape and not give all imformation when questioned. From 1975 to 1977, he encouraged hostages to rebel and grab guns from security guards and to escape into the forest in order to form a force to attack the revolution. He did such things until arrested on 27 July, 1977.
