contains a note, which reads: Doeun reports all the names of people in connection with him and those who were already arrested, and their traitorous activities. In 1973, the secret force reported to t he enemy to use war planes to drop bombs on offices, military forts, rices-stores, ordinance warehouse and military headquarters. There is also a note for Khieu: He answered all. At the end, he wrote a letter denying all. All the answers both of medium and high level are clear. He denied because he had no hope of saving his life. But he requested us not to go further into the depth of the issue. S till hide more. 13/4/77

Summary / Abstract :

In 1961, Doeun got a letter of introduction from Koy Thuon to be admitted as a member of a leaflet-spreading movement and to hold demonstrations in Kampong Cham. In 1963, [Doeun]infiltrated a texile f actory as a worker to agitate and build up stronger forces among workers. In 1970, [Doeun]allowed Vietnamese to do anything arbitrarily so as to weaken the revolution's influence, and then was a Secre tary in Kampong Cham Region and gradually destroyed the revolution. In 1973, [Doeun]was transferred to be responsible for Kampong Thom Region, sent messages to the enemy to evacuate people, moved trai tors into the military line to destroy the revolution's forces, formed traitorous lines in every region, especially the Eastern Zone, and contacted Thai soldiers to appeal for aid from the United Stat es.
