Summary / Abstract :
|
Chhim Meas, who joined the revolution in 1965, was a messenger and responsible for spreading leaflets. In 1968, he worked as a spy for Prey Chhor district governor and led the soldiers to attack the r evolution's base. After the liberation in 1975, Meas joined the Thai military service and received the plan from Vietnam to prepare the troop attack against the revolution. He hid weapons in three war ehouse and formed a betrayal troop. In 1976, he moved to Kampong Thom and planned the attack against the revolution. He created a new party called the White Party. He caused conflict among the Party m embers and destroyed Angkar's economy. On 14 October 1976, he was arrested by Angkar.
