Summary / Abstract :
|
Nov alias Chakrei was a Free Khmer and infiltrated the revolution as a secretary of Division 170 in the Eastern Zone. In 1975, [Chakrei]joined a meeting in Region 24, headed by Chhouk, concerning thei r plan to build up, strengthen and widen Free Khmer forces in the fields of politics, the military, economy and authority throughout the country. Their important plan was to get in touch with Vietnam about diplomatic relation as well as using them as a support base. They mainly contacted Vietnam through Region 23 and 24 in order to ask Vietnam to help train their military forces and supply weapons , in collaboration, to smash Cambodia's revolution.
