Summary / Abstract :
|
Sok Run was a spy for the Chief of Kirirom District. [Run]spied on the Khmer Rouge and persuaded other people to spy on the Khmer Rouge. In 1964, [Run][allegedly]joined the CIA, encouraging people not to move into the forest. In 1966, [Run]hid himself in the revolution and worked at a charchoal furnace. [Run]encouraged coal workers to spy on the Khmer Rouge and destroy Khmer Rouge crops. After the liberation in 1975, [Run]moved to Kampong Speu and became a track worker. [Run]built roads and bridges with poor quality materials. [Run]burned a rice storehouse and crops. Angkar arrested [Run]in Se ptember 1977.
