Summary / Abstract :

In 1970, Sok Sath [allegedly]joined the revolution as a combatant in Region 32, joined the CIA, then spied on Khmer Rouge positions, reported to the enemies' planes to drop bombs, incited people to ge t into conflict with soldiers, and built up CIA forces from the Free squad. In 1975, [Sath]destroyed agricultural tools, rice and other crops. In 1975, [Sath]contacted Vietnam with the purpose of aski ng for food supplies and setting up temporary military positions aimed to attack the revolution. [Sath]then allowed Vietnamese soldiers to come and survey Cambodian geography. In 1977, [Sath]transport ed weapons and foodstuff from Vietnam to be used for attacking the revolution. On 12 June, 1977, [Sath]was arrested by Angkar.
