In 1972, Yao Yart alias Rom joined the revolution as a chief of the Fire Brigade, [allegedly]joined the CIA in 1975, built up traitorous forces, destroyed materials in the water-carried vechicle units , inspired workers in the units to oppose Angkar and to steal rice, and poisoned workers who were far from the units. In 1975, [Yart]hid foodstuffs, rice, medicines and bullets, attacked the revolutio n 's forces in ambushes, damaged diplomatic cars or threw grenades to detroy them. [Yao Yart]continued these actions until arrested by Angkar.
