In 1974, Peang Yat joined the revolution as a messenger in Region 41. [Peang Yat]served the revolution until 1976 and then indoctrinated and convinced by Vann, a cooking chief, to conducted traitorous actions against the revolution. After he was educated, he then joined the CIA. He stated to break dishes, destroyed crops, cooked insanitary food, did not carefully and properly serve guests and form ed a group in order to oppose Angkar, until arrested.
