Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1957, Kauy Kimsuor got in touch with Kauy Bun Hok, Vice President of the USA Department of Information (went back to USA)in order to spread liberalism. In 1960, [Kimsuor][allegedly]joined the CIA, with assignment to spy on Khmer Rouge activities and to influence people to love liberal ideology. In 1972, [Kimsuor]moved to Phnom Penh where [Kimsuor]inspired people to join military service and enc ouraged students to join commando units. In 1975, [Kimsuor]propagadized people to oppose collectivization regime, searched for routes in order to inspire people to escape to Thailand, destroyed crops, and poisoned animals. On 14 August 1977, [Kauy Kimsuor]was arrested by Angkar.
