Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1963, Tep Rom [allegedly]was a CIA spy, assigned to spy on Khmer Rouge activities. In 1967, [Rom]joined the Khmer Rouge revolution. [Rom]then encouraged people to run away from Khmer Rouge controll ed areas to the Phnom Penh based troops (Lon Nol). [Rom]conducted actions against the Khmer Rouge by building up more CIA forces, undermining plant growing, mixing rice seeds with other seeds, and res erving military forces and food supplies for staging a coup d'état. On 13 September, 1977, [Tep Rom]was arrested by Angkar.
