Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1967, Yin Sophanya [allegedly]was a spy. [Sophanya]spied on the Khmer Rouge, caught people in gambling, subdued students' revolt, and interrogated prisoners. In 1968, [Sophanya]joined the CIA and t hen spied on Khmer Rouge activities in provinces pretending to spread Catholicism as a cover to deceive people. During 1974-75, [Sophanya]went to investigate who threw grenades in Phnom Penh and which soldiers had stole American aid, and gathered children to study in American schools. In 1976, [Sophanya]arranged plans to flee to Thailand in order to form Khmer soldiers and Khmer Sarin in Thailand together with his CIA group for counter-attacking the revolution.
