In 1963, Dy Chhan alias Khann joined the revolution against America as a house guard, and built up traitorous forces when there were meetings held in Kampong Cham. In 1968, [Dy Chhan]was imprisoned by [Lon Nol]troops. In prison, [Dy Chhan][allegedly]joined the CIA to keep track of the activities and communications of the revolution. After being released from prison, [Dy Chhan]cotinued contracting traitorous until 1970 when assigned to be a Secretary in Region 41. [Dy Chhan]then built up traitorous forces, and allowed people to sell their products to entries. In 1975, [Dy Chhan]ordered youth to collect and keep property. [Dy Chhan]went to live at a rubber plantation and encouraged people to escape to Thailand to continue struggle against the revolution, as well as causing workers at the rub ber farm to get into distputes and to mistrust each other.
