Summary / Abstract :

Ith Yim was a combatant in Kampong Cham Region. In 1973, [Ith Yim]cooperated with (Lon Nol)troops to conquer Phnom Pros Phnom Srey Mount (the Mountain of the Women and the Mountain of the Men)in Kampo ng Cham, Dey Dom and Veal Vol pagoda. Then, (Ith Yim)discouraged soldiers from struggling and encouraged them to desert to go back home but the deserters were arrested by Angkar on the charge of being spies. In 1975, [Yim]was advised by traitors' chiefs, Nan, and Neak Kmao, to kill cadres, deserters or anyone who did not join the betrayal. [Ith Yim]continued the actions until arrested by Angkar.
