Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1973, Im Chhean [allegedly]joined the Khmer Rouge revolution as a combatant in Division 174. In 1975, [Chhean]went to live in Kampong Cham, where [Chhean]started to build up CIA forces, shot dead A ngkar's major chiefs, destroyed rice and weapons, burned weapons warehouses in Kampong Cham, prepared a plan to reserve weapons and logistics for attacking Kampong Som in August and September 1977. On 26 September, 1977, [Im Chhean]was arrested by Angkar.
