Huon Proeun, 41, was born in Tuol Prum village, Tuol Prum sub-district, Mong Reussey district, Battambang province. In 1968, he received the indoctrination from Prum to be a spy to trace down the Khmer Rouge and spread propaganda to induce the people not to provide food to the Khmer Rouge. After the liberation, he received Leng's plots to carry on with the destruction and hurting of people. Then,he prepared the troop and food to stage coup in July or August 1978. In June 1977, Angkar arrested Leng and Chhoeut, Proeun. There was no leader. After that, Doeut and Koeung took over and went aheadwith the treacherous activities. In December 1977, Angkar made his arrest.
ហួន ព្រឿន អាយុ ៤១ឆ្នាំ កើតនៅភូមិទួលព្រុំ ឃុំទួលព្រុំ ស្រុកមោងប្ញស្សី ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង ។ នៅឆ្មាំ១៩៦៨ ទទួលការ អប់អំរំពីមេឃុំទទួលព្រុំ ធ្វើឱ្យគិញតាមដានចាប់ខ្មែក្រហម និងឃោសនាមិនឱ្យប្រជាជន ឧបត្ថមស្បៀងដល់ពួកខ្មែរក្រហម។ ក្រោយរំដោះទទួលផែនការណ៍របស់ ឡេង ឱ្យបន្ដការបំផ្លាញ ធ្វើបាបប្រជាជន រៀបចំកងទ័ព ស្បៀង ត្រៀមធ្វើរដ្ឋប្រហារនៅ ខែ៧ ឬ ខែ៨ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ។ ខែ៦-១៩៧៧ អង្គការចាប់ ឡេង និង ឈឿត, ព្រឿន អស់បង្អែកធំ បន្ទាប់មកយកឈ្មោះ ដឿត និង គឿង ធ្វើជាអ្នកដឹកនាំហើយបន្ដសកម្មភាពក្បត់តទៅទៀត រហូត ដល់ខែ១២-១៩៧៧ ទើបអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួន។
