In 1972, Chea Hoeung was trained by Americans to be a CIA agent and spied on Khmer Rouge activities in school. [Hoeung]persuaded youth to join the CIA and oppose the Khmer Rouge. After the liberation in 1975, [Hoeung]encouraged people to escape to Thailand , to join In Tam troops, to steal rice, and to sabotage cooperatives by dropping leaflets in order to create chaos. [Hoeung]was arrested by Ang kar.
