After the liberation in 1975, Nhek Vuth went to live in a cooperative in Kampot Province. In 1977, [Vuth]betrayed the revolution and became a bandit. [Vuth]planned to escape to Thailand. On 17 August, 1977, [Nhek Vuth]was arrested on his way to Thailand.
