Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1977, Tes Nang [allegedly]escaped from Cambodia and joined the Free Khmer troops whose base was on the Cambodian-Thai border. This force was sponsored by the United States through Thailand. However , the Thai stole some of the money which caused hardship for the troops. Most of the troops were former soldiers, who had lef the country before 1975, and refugees, who had come to Thailand after 1975 . In the same year, Nang came back to Cambodia and forced people to join his troops, as the CIA group had planned. However, this plan was known by a traitor. Then, that traitor informed the soldiers t o arrest Nang.
