Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1969, Sam Chhoeun alias Pheng was [allegedly]a spy for the Kampong Cham Provincial Governor, who inspired students to hate the revolution, and contacted the Free Workers' Party networks led by Beng and Khuon. In 1972, Sam Chhoeun received a plan from Beng to destroy bullets and to contact troops to drop bombs. [Sam Chhoeun]was afterwards transferred to Kampong Cham under the orders of Khuon, an d destroyed soldiers by reporting [Lon Nol's]troops to surround and kill them when fighting, and let tanks run over and kill soldiers in trenches. In 1975, [Sam Chhoeun]collected and hid foodstuff in reserve for plotting a coup against the party in order to proclaim the name of the Workers' Party.
