Summary / Abstract :

In 1968, Sokh Kun [allegedly]was a spy for Captain, Len in the Northwest Zone investigating the Khmer Rouge and building up spy forces. In 1970, [Sokh Kun]joined the revolution as Security Guard for C hhoeun, former Secretary in Region 1. In 1971, [Sokh Kun]joined the CIA and went to live with the regiional army. At that time, [Sokh Kun]encouraged combatants to desert and caused conflict in the uni t between the army and the base ana allowed people to escape to Thailand and laid mines abd spikes in such a way that the enemy could see them. [Sokh Kun]arrested cadres and had them killed and hid fo odstuff and weapons in reserve for attacking the revolution. If [his]plan failed [Sokh Kun]and group had to withraw into forest near Pailin, where they would be helped by Sarim, Khleum, Ten and Reth, who were familar with the terrain. On July 5, 1977, [Sokh Kun]was arrested on 5 July 1977.
