A visit to Cambodia by UN, secretary general would be a good start for official international scrutiny of the state of human right there. The various reports of atrocities and repression are on such a scale that Mr Waldheim should not delay in accepting the recent invitation from D.K to see with see with his own eyes whether the charges of gross violations of human rights are true.
