The author is today Director of the Cambodian Documentation Commission, which has been compiling the evidential base for submitting a legal brief against the Cambodian government, which was responsibl e for murdering between 1 and 3 million of its six million citizens. David Hawk (see Chapter 7 of this book)has been an intrepid investigator and documentor of the nightmare of the "Cambodian autogeno cide." (Israel W. Charny).
