The jonrnallist said that, Phnom Penh has about 200.000 people though loct seem to live in the surrounding area and only about 100.000 downtown still one house in five or six shows of hobitation. The ornate national bank building ruinps. The door of the National library is open but the farniture is scattered in dissaray. Piles of half finished hats lie scattered on shelves in a downtown tailor's shop.
