Cambodia reported that it had reppealed Vietnamese attackers in one of the biggest battles of ther border war, killing or wounding several hundred troops and destroying 17tanks in the Mékong Delta. The Vietnamese sent a copy of their cease-fire proposals to UN Secretary General and ask for UN support.
