So Horn is PTSD victim. She got married to Nuon Yan in 1981. She has 5 children. Her father called Um So. Her mother called Suon Hiek. Her parents died in the Khmer Rouge regime because of starvation. She has 9 siblings, but 6 of them died. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. She was in combat situation. She was close to death. She was forced to separate from her family members. She was drown in 1920. She suffocated in 1976. She lost consciousness once. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as though the event is happening again. She has recurrent nightmares. She is unable to feel emotions. She has difficulites in concentrating. She has trouble sleeping. She feels on guard. She feels irritable. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She is less interest in her daily activities. She feels as though she does not have a future. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional. She feels that people do not understand clearly what happened to her. She has difficulties in performing her daily tasks. She blames herself for things that have happened. She feels guilty for having survived. She spends time thinking about why these events happened to her. She feels as if she split into two people and one of her is watching and the other is doing.
