A source reported that on 12 May 1973, Yuon Viet Cong Armed Forces built thatched roof shelters at three places in a thick forest near Brachao village VU 885-715, VU 887-715, Sangkat Baray, Kampong Thom province, and stored 3,000 sacks of rice and 500 barrels of petrol. There some 300 Yuon Viet Cong soldiers guarded them. The source indicated that some 100 Khmer rebels built shelters at 2 of those places to catch fish.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១២ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យួនយៀក កុងបានសង់រោងប្រក់ស្លឹកចំនួន៣កន្លែង នៅក្នុងព្រៃក្រាស់ក្បែរភូមិ ប្រចៅត្រង់វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៨៨៥-៧១៥, វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៨៨៧-៧១៥ ក្នុងសង្កាត់បារាយណ៍ ស្រុកបារាយណ៍ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ ជាពិសេសមាន ស្ដុកអង្ករចំនួន៣០០០បាវ និងបេ្រងសាំង ៥០០ធុង ហើយមាន ទ័ពយួន ប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ នៅយាមការពារទីនោះ។ ប្រភពបាន បន្ថែមថា ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល១០០នាក់ បានមកកសាងជំរុំប្រក់ស្លឹក២ កន្លែងដើម្បី ស្នាក់នៅចំណុចខាងលើដើម្បីរកស៊ីនេសាទត្រី។
