On February 11, 1972, approximtely 300 Khmer Viet Congs set up shelters in Prasat village at WT 157-471 and WT 101-480, Prasat sub-district, Sa Ang district of Kandal province. Intended to attack National Military Position in Basac and in Pur Miev.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ មកតាំងជម្រកនៅក្នុងភូមិប្រាសា ត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ១៥៧-៤៧១ និងឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ១៦១-៤៨០ ក្នុងឃុំប្រាសាទ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពួកមានគោលបំណងវាយទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅបាសាក់ ពោធិ៍មៀវ។
