A source reported that on 12 June 1973, 1,000 Yuon Viet Cong and Khmer Rebels Armed Forces retreated from Tvea mountain and then moved to Sa-ang mountain VS 292-850, VS 310-850 and VS 310-820 in Kampot district, Kampot province. They attempted to attack a cement factory in Chak Kreiting a short time later.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១២ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យួនយៀក កុង និងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល១០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានដយថយពីភ្នំទ្វារ រួចចូលស្នាក់នៅខាងភ្នំល្អាង ត្រង់វ៉េអែស ២៩២-៨៥០, វ៉េអែស ៣១០-៨៥០, វ៉េអែស ៣១០-៨២០ ស្រុកកំពត ខេត្ដកំពត។ ពួកខ្មាំងមានបំណងវាយប្រហាររោងចក្រស៊ីម៉ង់ នៅចក្រីទីងនៅពេលឆាប់ៗនេះ។
