On February 29, 1972, about 250 North Yuon Viet Congs, equipped with weapons including two 82 mm mortars, three 60mm with mortars and a walkie-talkie, came to set up shelters in Dam Rei Kach Roteh village at VT 354-916, Ya Ang sub-district, Thpong district, Kampong Speu province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានយៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែល២៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃជាពិសេសមានកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់៨២មម ២ដើម, ៦០មម ៣ដើម និងវិទ្យុទាក់ទង១គ្រឿង បាន មកតាំងទីជម្រកនៅភូមិដំរីកាច់រទេះ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ៣៥៤-៩១៦ ឃុំត្រពាំងអង្គ ស្រុកថ្ពង ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។
