On December 15, 1973, maybe one Battalion of Khmer Communist armed forces came to stay in North of a lake at VT 404-654, in sangkat Kaheng, Phnom Sruoch district, Kirirom province. The source added that the enemies were about to attack National Army positions at Kruos pagoda at VT 407-644 and at VT 403-653.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ៥-ធ្នូ-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែលមួយកងវរសេនា តូច ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចូលមកស្នាក់នៅខាងជើងមាត់បឹងត្រង់ ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៤០៤-៦៥៤ ក្នុងសង្កាត់កាហែង ស្រុកភ្នំស្រួច ខេត្ដគិរីរម្យ។ ពួកខ្មាំងមានគោលបំណងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងទ័ព ជាតិនៅគ្រួសត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៤០៧-៦៤៤ និង ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៤០៣-៦៥៣។
