Ung Yeun alias Kosal, had served in Khmer Communist Movement as Deputy Commander of Unit 123, Region 15, Special zone. Ung Ret, as a Commander of Brigade 1, Company 21, Unit 123 of the Special zone. On December 22, 1973, they defected to the National Military Forces of Brigade 45 of Division 7.
អ៊ុង យឺន ហៅ កុសល បានបម្រើចលនាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដមានឋានៈជា មេបញ្ជាការរងនៃកងវរៈលេខ១២៣ តំបន់១៥ ភូមិភាគពិសេស។ ឈ្មោះ អ៊ុង រ៉េត បានបម្រើក្នុងចលនាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដមានឋានៈ ជាមេបញ្ជាការកងអនុសេនាតូចលេខ១ កងអនុសេនាធំ២១ កងវរលេខ ១២៣ ភូមិភាគពិសេស។ នៅថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ជនទាំងពីរ រូបនេះបានចូលមករួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញជាមួយនឹងកងកម្លាំងយោធា ជាតិក្នុងកងពលតូចលេខ៤៥ កងពលធំលេខ៧។
