On September 29, 1973, at the Second Bureau ASYKHCH, Sergeant Major Bon Soem Seng Sovann, interrogated Meas Seng, who had defected to the Infantry Training Center bringing along one grenade. He left the Communists because he did not agree with their activities.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ នៅការិយាល័យទី២ អសយខជ ព្រិន្ទបាលឯក បុណ្យសឹម-សេងសុវណ្ណ បានសួរចម្លើយជនចុះចូលម្នាក់ គឺឈ្មោះ មាស សេង ដែលបានចុះចូលនៅមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលហឹ្វកហឺ្វន ទាហានថើ្មរជើងទី៣។ ជននេះបាន នាំយកគ្រាប់បែកមួយគ្រាប់មក ជាមួយផងដែរ។ មាស សេង និយាយថា ខ្លួនមិនពេញចិត្ដនឹងពួកខ្មាំង នោះទេ។
