A source reported that on April 24, 1973, about 200 Khmer Viet Cong Armed Forces came to stay at Eastern Moat Krasas at WT 014-769 and some hid in the Wester part of a pagoda in Sangkat Sarikakeo, Lvea Em district, Vihear Suor province. The source said that the enemies were about to attack Phnom Penh and to close the water gates along Tonle Mekong in order to prevent the National Marine Corps from patrolling.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានចូលមកស្នាក់នៅខាងកើតវត្ដមាត់ក្រសាស់ ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០១៤-៧៦៩ និងខ្លះទៀតទៅបង្កប់ខ្លួននៅខាងលិចវត្ដ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ សារិកាកែវ ស្រុកល្វាឯម ខេត្ដវិហារសួគ៌។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ទៀតថា គោលបំណងខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះប្រុងវាយលុកចូលក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ថែមទាំង បាញ់ផ្លោងកាំភ្លើងធំទៀតផង ពិសេសខ្មាំងបម្រុងវាយបិទផ្លូវទឹក តាមទនេ្លមេគង្គ ដើម្បីកុំឱ្យកងម៉ារីនជាតិបើកបរធ្វើការយាមល្បាតបាន។
