Uon Thon confessed that Keo Hsiny, lieutenant, and Seung Taing Hong indoctrinated him to flee to Thailand. After the liberation, he hid himself in Sre Thmei village, Stung Keo sub-district, Kampot district, in order to wait for good occasion to flee to Thailand. Uon Thong was arrested and sent to office S-21 while he was fleeing on half way to Thailand.
ងួន ថុន បានសារភាពថា ខ្លួនត្រូវបានលោកសកិ្ដ៤ ឈ្មោះ កែវ ស្សីនី និង សឺង តាំងហុង អូសទាញឱ្យទៅប្រទេសថៃ។ ក្រោយ ថ្ងៃរំដោះ ខ្លួនមករស់នៅក្នុងភូមិស្រែថ្មី ឃុំស្ទឹងកែវ ស្រុកកំពត ដើម្បីរង់ចាំឱកាសល្អរត់ទៅថៃ។ ងួន ថុង ត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួនពេលដែល កំពុងរត់បានពាក់កណ្ដាលផ្លូវ ហើយបញ្ជូនមកមន្ទីរស-២១ ឈ្មោះ នេះត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួនហើយ។
