Yann Yan alias Vuth, was arrested by an Investigation Battalion for Research in the Bureau on June 2, 1974, for involvement in a movement to sabotage Phnom Penh. He coffessed that he had served in the enemy movement since January 1974, as a combatant. On April 5, 1974, Angkar sent him to sabotage Phnom Penh with Phaok Choeun, governed. He and two other friends, Yin Moeun and Yim Kem, caused Chaos at a wedding ceremony by throwing a grenade into the crowd in order to kill people.
ឈ្មោះ យ៉ាន់ យាន ហៅ វុធ ត្រូវកងវរសេនាតូចស្រាវជ្រាវពត៌មាន នៃការិយាល័យទី២ ចាប់ខ្លួនបានកាលពីថ្ងៃទី២ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ពីបទធ្វើជាភ្នាក់ងារវិចេ្ឆតកម្មក្នុងក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។ ប្រភពបានឆ្លើយថា ខ្លួនបានចូលបម្រើក្នុងចលនាខ្មាំងក្នុងខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ដោយមានឋានៈ ជាយុទ្ធជនក្រោយមកនៅថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ប្រភពត្រូវបាន អង្គការបញ្ជូនឱ្យចូលមកធ្វើវចេ្ឆតកម្មក្នុងក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ដោយមាន ឈ្មោះ ភោគ ជឿន ជាអ្នកគ្រប់គ្រង។ ប្រភព និងមិត្ដភក្ដិពីរនាក់ទៀត ឈ្មោះ យិន មឿន និង យិន កែប បាននៅបង្កឱ្យមានភាពចលាចល ក្នុងពិធីមង្គលការមួយ ដោយបានយកគ្រាប់បែកទៅគប់សម្លាប់មនុស្ស ក្នុងពិធីនោះ។
