Nowadays, North Yuon Viet Cong prepared a strict plan for protecting. They had cut off a bridge from Kampong Porpil to Snay Pul, and built a front-line post at WT 217-891, in Peareang district with 300 armed forces. Moreover, they built many other posts in an attempt to attack Svay Pul, where National Army stoodby.
សព្វថ្ងៃនេះខ្មាំងយួនយៀកកុងខាងជើង បានរៀបចំផែនការការពារ យ៉ាងល្អិតល្អន់ណាស់។ ពួកវាបានកាត់ផ្ដាច់ស្ពានពីកំពង់ពពិល ដល់ស្នាយពល ហើយតាំងប៉ុស្ដិ៍ជួរមុខមួយកន្លែងត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ២១៧-៨៩១ ក្នុងស្រុកពារាំង ដោយមានគ្នាចំនួន៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ធុន។ លើសពីនេះពួកវាបានតាំងប៉ុស្ដិ៍ជាច្រើនទៀត ដោយមានបំណងវាយលុកស្នាយពល ដែលមានកងទ័ពជាតិឈរជើង នៅទីនោះ។
