On March 17, 1971, about 500 North Yuon Viet Cong built shelters and hid themselves at WT 180-704 to WT 233-677, located in North of Prek Pra bank, Lvea Em district, Kandal province. The enemies were about to raid National Army who were sweeping enemies away in North of country.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៧-មីនា-១៩៧១ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែល ៥០០នាក់ បានមកតាំងជម្រកលាក់ខ្លួននៅត្រើយខាងជើងព្រែកប្រា ចាប់ពីចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១៨០-៧០៤ រហូតដល់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ២៣៣-៦៧៧ ក្នុងស្រុកល្វាឯម ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ ថា ពួកខ្មាំងមានបំណងស្ទាក់វាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិដែលប្រតិបត្ដិការបោស សម្អាតនៅទិសខាងជើង។
