On November 22, 1973, Chea Vunna, was arrested by the National Marine Corps of Chrauy Chrey while he was ready to shoot a cargo ship travelling from Neak Loeung to Phnom Penh. He confessed that he had served the Khmer Viet Cong Movement as a soldier in Platoon 28, Battalion 175, Region 2, Zone 203.
ឈ្មោះ ជា វុនណា ត្រូវបានកងទ័ពនារីជាតិចាប់ខ្លួនកាលពីថ្ងៃ២២ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ នៅជ្រោយជ្រែ ពេលដែលប្រភពកំពុងត្រៀមចាំបាញ់ស្ទាក់នាវាដឹកទំនិញពីអ្នកលឿង មកភ្នំពេញ។ សាម៉ីជនបានសារភាពថា ខ្លួនពិតជាបានចូលបម្រើខ្មែរយៀកកុងមែន ហើយមាននាទីជា ទាហានក្នុងកងអង្គភាពវរសេនាតូច២៨ នៃកងវរ ង-១៧៥ តំបន់២២ ភូមីភាគ២០៣។
