On May 2, 1973, about 35 North Yuon Viet Cong and Khmer Viet Cong Armed Forces crossed the Eastern of the Tonle Sap in 5 motor boats, moved towards Tuol Ampel moved at VU 808-028 and the on to the West towards Phnom Bat in Sangkat Ponhea Leu, Oudong district of Oudong Meanchey province. The source indicated that the enemies were about to attack the National Army position at Banteay Phnom Bat forcess.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៣៥នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ បានឆ្លងពីត្រើយខាងកើតទនេ្លសាបដោយ ជិះទូកម៉ាស៊ីន៥គ្រឿង សំដៅមកកាន់ភូមិទួលអំពិល ត្រង់ចំណុច វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៨០៨-០២៨ ហើយឡើងមកត្រើយខាងលិចសំដៅ ទៅកាន់ភ្នំបាត ក្នុងសង្កាត់ពញាឮ ស្រុកឧដុង្គ ខេត្ដឧដុង្គមានជ័យ។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ថា គោលបំណងខ្មាំង ខាងលើប្រុងវាយប្រហារ ទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅបន្ទាយកភ្នំបាត។
