On June 12, 1971, a large of enemies moved from Ambe region and rubber planting field towards Tonle Tauch in Koh Sotin district, and each of groups had from 150 to 200 combatants. Before July 15, 1971, the enemies attempted to cut off National Road No.6, 7, and then they wanted to smash Kampong Cham provincial town and Phnom Penh city.
ចាប់តាំងពីថ្ងៃ១២ មិថុនា មកខ្មាំងបានចេញពីតំបន់អំបែខ្លះ, ចម្ការកៅស៊ូខ្លះ, មកទនេ្លតូចក្នុងស្រុកកោះសូទិន។ ក្នុងក្រុងនីមួយៗ មានគ្នាពី១៥០នាក់ ទៅ២០០នាក់ ហើយប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ធុន។ ពួកវាប្រុងវាយផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៦ និង៧ ជាមុនរួច ហើយវាយ កមេ្ទចកំពង់ចាម និងរដ្ឋធានីភ្នំពេញ ជាក្រោយឱ្យបានមុនថ្ងៃ១៥-កក្កដា-១៩៧១។
